Well-being center opens with unique concept
Soma Pilates Studio, Yoga Tree Studio and Urban Boheme Spa held an open house on Wednesday, January 24th at their designer villa in a very peaceful location, just off Khaleej al Arabi Street in Al Bateen. The event was well attended by an eclectic mix of over 300 Abu Dhabi residents.
The concept for housing the spa and mind-body studios under one roof, recognizes the demand in Abu Dhabi for quality, professional services that create beauty and well being from the inside out.
Sharifa & Nadia Sehweil, Elina Rozycki and Rana Mani are independent, business owners, who recognized the advantage of coming together to offer their services to a larger client base.
Also scheduled to open an outlet at the center is Tchaba Designer Tea, showcasing a wide range of designer blends of high quality full leaf tea, tea accessories, cosmetics, and offering tea ceremonies. An organic café in the quaint courtyard is in the mix and soon to open.
The center will be hosting community drum circles by Dubai Drums with Julie Odell, founder, and Atsu, master drummer. Drumming is a stress reliever, brings out creativity, sparks the imagination and helps people become more spontaneous and intuitive.
Services at Urban Boheme include a range of Ayurvedic treatments, hair, nails, beauty, body treatments, massages, henna, reiki, reflexology, color therapy, and holistic healing.
Soma Pilates Studio, founded by Sharifa Sehweil, is offering specialized Pilates mat and equipment based classes. Private and semi-private instruction, as well as the small group classes.
Yoga Tree Studio, founded by Elina Nykaenen Rozycki will hold classes in Hatha, pre and pre / post natal, rehabilitative yoga, Yoga for kids, ethnic dance and Nia. Nia is a blend of modern, jazz dance, aerobics, martial arts, yoga and body integration therapy.
Various events and workshops are also being scheduled. Regular classes will be offered Saturday to Thursday.
